Welcome to Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments. To ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all our valued guests, the following Terms and Conditions apply. By making a reservation or staying at Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Check-In and Check-Out
  2. Check-In:
    – Check-in time is from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
    – Early check-in may be arranged upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
    – If you plan to arrive outside of Reception hours, please contact us in advance to arrange after-hours check-in.
  3. Check-Out:
    – Check-out time is 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
    – Late check-out may be arranged upon request, subject to availability and additional fees.
    – Elite Members may request complimentary late check-out (subject to availability).
    – Luggage storage facilities are not available on-site.
  4. Car Parking

Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments provides ample free on-site car parking for guests.
– Parking is available directly outside most rooms and apartments for your convenience.
– Additional free street parking is available surrounding the property.
– Guests park at their own risk; the property accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.

  2. Visitor Policy:
    – Visitors are welcome at the discretion of management and must be registered at Reception.
    – All visitors must vacate the premises by 10:00 PM.
    – Registered guests are responsible for the behaviour of their visitors while on the property.
  3. Damage and Loss
  4. Guest Responsibility:
    – Guests are liable for any damage, breakage, or loss caused to motel property during their stay.
    – Charges for repairs, replacements, or professional cleaning (including any insurance excess) may be charged to the registered guest’s account or credit card.
  5. Missing Items:
    – The property reserves the right to charge for any items missing from rooms or apartments after check-out.
  6. Smoking Policy
  7. Smoke-Free Property:
    – Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments is a smoke-free property.
    – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and apartments. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided for guest convenience.
  8. Cleaning Costs:
    – If smoking occurs inside any room or apartment, a professional cleaning company will be engaged, and the full cost of cleaning and deodorising (plus any loss of income due to the room being uninhabitable) will be charged to the guest.
  9. Unreasonable Mess:
    – Rooms left in an excessively dirty condition or with strong odours will incur additional cleaning fees. Any associated loss of income will also be charged to the guest.
  10. Pets

– No pets are permitted on the premises of Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments.
– Assistance animals are welcome in accordance with Australian law.

  1. Tariffs and Payments
  2. Rates:
    – All room rates are subject to change based on seasonal demand and minimum stay requirements.
    – Additional surcharges may apply for stays or departures on public holidays.
  3. Payment Methods:
    – We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
    – A 2% surcharge applies to American Express and a 1.5% surcharge applies to all other credit card transactions.
  4. Reservation Types:
    – Flexible Rate Reservations: Require a valid credit card to secure your booking. Payment is taken upon arrival.
    – Prepaid / Non-Refundable Reservations: Require full payment at the time of booking. These reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  5. Accounts
  6. Payment:
    – All accommodation and incidental charges must be settled upon check-in unless prior arrangements have been approved by management.
  7. Late Payments:
    – A 2% per month interest charge (plus GST, if applicable) may apply to overdue accounts.
    – Any collection costs associated with recovering unpaid amounts will be charged to the guest.
  8. General Terms
  9. Compliance:
    – All guests must adhere to the property’s rules and regulations as advised by management or displayed on the premises.
  10. Privacy Policy:
    – Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.
  11. Amendments:
    – Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our official website and will take immediate effect.
  12. Noise Advisory:
    – As our property is conveniently located near Mount Gambier’s main street, some external noise may occasionally be heard. Guests seeking a quieter stay are encouraged to request an interior or rear room, subject to availability.
